Well-established, the London Sangerstevne has just kept on growing since the unique Scandinavian festival concept was brought back to the UK in 2004 by its Founding Artistic Director, Philip Norman (pnms.co.uk).
Originally held over one afternoon, the choral festival now runs over a whole weekend, starting on the Friday evening up until the last concert on the Sunday afternoon. The weekend culminates with the Saturday Main Festival where over 900 singers attend to take part over the course of the day, attracting discerning family audiences in the process.
